The good news is that 12 inches of new snow has added to over 2 feet of base in the Headwaters area.
The not-so-good is that we groomed all of our trails in 30 to 40-knot winds and white-out conditions last night, and couldn’t get ahead of the drifting, as expected.
We will get back at it tonight. Oh, Mother Nature. The lakes are highly drifted, and slush is now a problem.
Think ahead and make a plan.
We are open at Allagash Headwaters Lodge, with a fresh 90-octane Non-oxygenated ethanol-free Super Unleaded Fuel at the pump, great food, and trailside lodging.
